The Wiseco KE198M82AP is a forged aluminum piston kit engineered for the Volkswagen Golf G60 Mk2 1.8L 8-valve turbocharged PG engine. Designed for high-performance and forced-induction applications, this kit delivers a 82.00mm (+1.0mm oversize) bore with an 8.0:1 compression ratio — ideal for turbocharged builds where lower compression is needed to support boost pressure safely.

This is the AP (Armor Plating) version, featuring Wiseco's advanced abrasion-resistant Armor Plating coating applied to the piston crown and wrist pin bore. This coating raises the hardness of the aluminum surface, increases ring groove durability, prevents micro-welding of the piston rings, reduces carbon buildup, and combats corrosion caused by detonation.
