General ST05 Oxygen Sensor Tester & Simulator, O2 Lambda Sensor Diagnostic Tool

The General ST05 oxygen sensor tester and simulator (also called an O2 sensor tester or lambda sensor tester) is a diagnostic tool for checking oxygen sensors. It helps you quickly tell whether a sensor is defective and needs replacement. You can use it on its own or alongside a scan tool during diagnosis.

Key Features:

• Works with zirconia, titania 1 volt, titania 5 volt and wide band "dual-cell" sensors
• Works with heated or unheated sensors (1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 wires)
• Shows the sensor signal output in real time on a bar graph
• Shows the sensor cross count on an alphanumeric display
• Helps find "lazy" sensors that may not set a trouble code but still cause driveability problems
• Simulates rich and lean sensor output
• Tests sensor response time
• Can test sensors on or off the vehicle

The ST05 needs no time-consuming setup or in-depth knowledge to use. It is built to work with all sensor types, and it will not be damaged if the wrong sensor type is selected. It is a useful tool for technicians and DIYers diagnosing emissions and fuel-control problems.
