EBC DP82150RPX RPX Race Brake Pads Front High-Performance Track Pad Set

The EBC DP82150RPX RPX Race Brake Pads are ultra-high performance track and race pads designed for performance vehicles driven hard on track and for dedicated race cars. Manufactured entirely at EBC Brakes' factory in Bristol, UK, these pads feature stainless steel backing plates for reduced heat transfer and the Nucap NRS hook retention system to prevent pad debonding.

Key Performance Features:

• Stable friction coefficient of 0.55 maintained from 0°C up to 850°C (ambient to 1400°F)
• Achieves 100% brake effect from cold with no warm-up required, making it ideal for sprint racing and hill climb events
• 25% increase in friction coefficient compared to RP-1 with a more aggressive initial bite
• Stainless steel backing plates with Nucap NRS hook pad retention system prevent pad debonding
• Compatible with 25/23mm disc thickness applications

Application Notes:

• More suitable for heavy or inherently under-servoed vehicles requiring aggressive pad material
• Works well in track setups with aftermarket master cylinders or brake bias adjusters
• Not R90 homologated for road use in EU member states, though excellent cold performance allows safe driving to/from motorsport events where local laws permit
• Developed for peak on-track performance with higher levels of brake dust and noise expected

Made from a Carbon Kevlar blend of materials capable of temperatures and stability rarely seen in performance brakes. The RP-X compound provides the aggressive bite and immediate braking response demanded by serious track day enthusiasts and racers.
