Supertech Performance LC-60-1.65B Valve Lash Cap Diameter Thick - 6mm 1.65mm

The Supertech Performance LC-60-1.65B is a precision-engineered valve lash cap designed for performance engine builds and valve train modifications. This hardened steel shim measures 6mm in diameter with a thickness of 1.65mm and 2.5mm depth, providing precise valve clearance adjustment for shim-under-bucket and shim-over-bucket valvetrain configurations.

Key Features:

• 6mm diameter precision-machined lash cap
• 1.65mm thickness for accurate valve clearance control
• 2.5mm deep pocket design
• Hardened steel construction for durability and wear resistance
• Ground flat for proper contact surface and accurate valvetrain geometry
• Essential for setting proper valve lash in direct-acting lifter systems

Lash caps are critical components in performance engines, used to maintain proper valve clearance (lash) between the valve stem and camshaft or rocker arm. This cap sits atop the valve stem or inside the bucket follower, providing a hardened contact surface that protects the valve stem from wear while allowing precise adjustment of valve clearance. Proper valve lash ensures optimal valve timing, prevents valve float at high RPM, and protects against valve and seat damage.

With over 30 years of experience, Supertech Performance manufactures high-performance valvetrain components trusted by engine builders, tuners, and racers worldwide. Each lash cap is carefully designed and manufactured to provide optimum performance whether for road racing, drag racing, rally, or high-performance street applications.
