Cusco LSD 148 L15 Type-RS Limited Slip Differential 1.5-Way Rear

The Cusco LSD 148 L15 is a high-performance Type-RS limited slip differential engineered to maximize traction and handling for Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IV, V, and VI models with AYC (Active Yaw Control) equipped drivetrains. This rear-mounted LSD transforms power delivery and cornering stability for both street performance and competitive motorsports applications.

Key Features:

• 1.5-Way and 2-Way adjustable configuration allows tuning for different driving conditions and styles
• Coil spring design provides smooth, progressive initial torque activation for superior throttle response
• High-tensile forged chromoly side gears, pinion gears, and case construction ensures exceptional durability under high-horsepower applications
• Oil Through System case design maximizes cooling efficiency and extends service life
• Metal plate clutch design delivers stable performance across temperature ranges
• Lower initial torque reduces clutch plate wear and extends maintenance intervals compared to cone-type differentials
• Pressure ring with dual ramp angle adjustment options for fine-tuning locking characteristics
• Includes side bearing for complete installation

The Type-RS design emphasizes smooth operation ideal for street use while maintaining aggressive locking capability when needed. The innovative coil spring system applies consistent pressure to friction plates, minimizing chatter and power loss while providing responsive feedback to throttle inputs. The radially-grooved clutch plates enhance oil circulation for improved efficiency and longevity.
