Cusco LSD-1C7-F Type-RS 1-Way Front Limited Slip Differential

The Cusco LSD-1C7-F Type-RS Limited Slip Differential is a high-performance 1-way mechanical LSD engineered to enhance traction and cornering performance in front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive front axle applications. This differential minimizes individual wheel spin by detecting when a wheel loses grip and redirecting power to the wheel with the most traction, providing superior control during high-speed cornering and acceleration.

Key Features:

• Type-RS design with coil spring preload system for consistent performance and extended service intervals
• 1-way configuration activates under acceleration only, ideal for front-wheel drive and AWD front axles
• Lower initial torque compared to cone plate LSDs for reduced drive friction and better throttle response
• Radially-cut MZ clutch plate grooves enable instant oil movement for improved efficiency and durability
• Precision-polished pressure ring contact surfaces ensure even clutch plate engagement
• Oil Through System maintains optimal lubrication and steady oil flow throughout the differential
• Chrome molybdenum steel construction for exceptional strength and longevity
• Remains inactive during deceleration to prevent understeer

The Type-RS series utilizes innovative coil spring technology instead of traditional cone springs, which maintains more consistent preload over time and reduces the frequency of rebuilds. This design provides 50-70% lower initial torque compared to conventional cone plate LSDs, resulting in minimal power loss and improved lap times even in mild-tuned vehicles.
