Skyjacker Suspension FR86S Softride Rear Leaf Spring 6 Inch Lift 2008+ Ford Super Duty

The Skyjacker FR86S Softride rear leaf spring delivers a 6-inch lift for 2008 and newer Ford Super Duty trucks. Engineered for superior ride quality and durability, this leaf spring assembly combines advanced manufacturing techniques with premium American steel construction.

Advanced Softride Technology:

• Shot-peened with hard steel pellets at high velocities to compress the steel surface and increase tensile strength
• Enhanced shot-peening process maximizes wheel travel and ride quality while extending spring life
• Full-length leaf tapering distributes loads evenly across a greater surface area
• Tapered design reduces leaf-on-leaf friction and prevents digging between spring layers
• Bolt-style spring clips eliminate binding and friction common with cinch-style bent clips

Construction:

• Manufactured exclusively from American steel for consistent quality
• Individual leafs precision-engineered for optimal flex characteristics
• Superior spring clip design allows unrestricted leaf movement

Skyjacker Softride springs are designed to provide a balanced combination of load-carrying capacity, ride comfort, and off-road performance. The friction-reducing bolt clips and tapered leaf design work together to deliver smoother articulation and better wheel travel compared to conventional leaf spring designs.
