These rods are specifically designed for marine duty engines including 396, 402, 427, and 454 cubic inch applications.

Construction and Materials:

  • Forged from 4340 aircraft-quality vacuum degassed steel for superior strength and durability
  • Fully machined to produce the strongest rod possible while maintaining optimal weight
  • Shot-peened to military specifications for enhanced fatigue resistance
  • 100% individually magnafluxed to ensure quality and detect any potential defects
  • Average weight of 875 grams per rod for excellent balance
