Product Details

The ARP 135-5607 main stud kit is specifically engineered for Big Block Chevrolet engines using World Products Merlin X aluminum blocks. This precision-designed fastener kit provides superior clamping force and reliability compared to factory main bolts, making it essential for high-performance and racing applications.

Key Features:

  • Manufactured from premium 8740 chrome moly steel for exceptional strength
  • Heat-treated in-house to 190,000 psi tensile strength rating
  • Precision J-form threads rolled after heat-treat for superior fatigue resistance
  • Black oxide finish for corrosion resistance
  • Eliminates main cap walk and fretting under extreme loads
  • Protects engine block threads from damage during installation and removal
  • Complete kit includes hardened parallel-ground washers and high-quality hex nuts
  • Application-specific design for World Products Merlin X aluminum block

ARP main studs provide more accurate and consistent torque loading than conventional bolts, ensuring optimal main bearing cap retention and crankshaft support. The superior thread engagement and material properties make this kit ideal for street/strip, racing, and high-horsepower engine builds.

Great Price fast shipping, I can't complain.

Great transaction. The bike rack was about $90 less than a local retailer, and shipping was faster than promised. I wish all internet retailers were this reliable and useful.

WOW.. I ordered my liners very earlier in the morning on January 31st and I received them the very next day. They also had the best price and cheapest shipping rates I could find.

It was easy to order and the truck bed extender we bought was the lowest price we could find! However, the shipping charge was higher than what was posted on the comparison sight. Nevertheless, it still came in under the next highest price from a different vendor.
