URO 11-37-7-548-389 Variable Timing Eccentric Shaft Actuator

The URO 11-37-7-548-389 Variable Timing Eccentric Shaft Actuator is a precision engine component that controls the timing of the eccentric shaft in BMW engines equipped with Valvetronic variable valve lift technology. This actuator adjusts the position of the eccentric shaft to optimize valve timing across different engine speeds and loads, improving fuel efficiency, power delivery, and emissions performance.

Key Features:

• Direct replacement for OEM part number 11-37-7-548-389
• Controls eccentric shaft positioning for optimal valve timing
• Engineered to meet or exceed OEM specifications
• Essential component of the Valvetronic variable valve lift system
• Precision-manufactured for reliable long-term performance

This actuator is a critical component in BMW's Valvetronic system, which eliminates the need for a traditional throttle plate by directly controlling valve lift. When this actuator fails, symptoms may include rough idle, reduced power, check engine light illumination, and fault codes related to the Valvetronic system. URO Parts provides quality replacement components designed to restore proper engine operation.
