Hawk HB468D.492 ER-1 Ferro-Carbon Motorsport Disc Brake Pads

The Hawk Performance HB468D.492 ER-1 is a Ferro-Carbon motorsport disc brake pad engineered specifically for the endurance racing market. Developed with a clear goal — to deliver a higher coefficient of friction than competing endurance compounds while maintaining equal or better pad longevity — the ER-1 represents Hawk Performance's dedicated motorsport compound for serious competitors and track enthusiasts.

Extensive testing across some of America's most demanding racing events has produced a well-rounded compound offering consistent medium-to-high friction, excellent modulation, and precise pedal communication. The ER-1 compound delivers groundbreaking thermal stability across a temperature range reaching up to 1,600°F, maintaining predictable, fade-resistant performance lap after lap and hour after hour.

Key Features:

• Ferro-Carbon compound developed for the endurance racing market
• Higher coefficient of friction than competing endurance brake pads
• Friction stability across a thermal range up to 1,600°F
• Consistent medium-to-high friction with superior pad and rotor wear characteristics
• Ideal modulation, release, and pedal communication for driver confidence
