Product Details

The Metra IBFG4 InstallBay Firewall Grommet provides a professional, waterproof solution for routing 4 AWG power cables through vehicle firewalls. This cable pass-through grommet features IP68 waterproofing to protect against moisture intrusion and prevent cable damage from sharp sheet metal edges.

Key Features:

  • Designed for 4 AWG gauge wire installations
  • IP68 waterproof rating for complete moisture protection
  • 7/8 inch (PG13.5) mounting hole size
  • Threaded locking nut design creates watertight seal around cable
  • Protects wiring from chafing and cutting on firewall edges
  • Professional-grade construction for audio system installations

Ideal for car audio amplifier power wire installations, this grommet ensures a clean, secure pass-through that prevents wire damage and maintains the firewall's integrity. The adjustable compression fitting tightens around the cable to create a reliable seal while protecting the wire insulation from metal contact.
