Metra IBBAF46 4x6 Bass Blocker High-Pass Acoustic Filter for Car Audio Speakers

The Metra IBBAF46 is a passive high-pass bass blocker filter designed to protect small 4x6-inch car audio speakers from damaging low-frequency signals. By filtering out bass frequencies before they reach the speaker, this inline filter reduces distortion, minimizes speaker excursion, and extends the life of factory or aftermarket 4x6 speakers.

Key Features:

• High-pass filter designed specifically for 4x6 inch speakers
• Passive inline design — no external power required
• Blocks low-frequency bass signals that can damage smaller speakers
• Reduces distortion and improves overall sound clarity
• Easy inline installation between head unit/amplifier and speaker
• Helps protect factory and aftermarket 4x6 speakers from over-excursion
• Compact design fits in tight installation spaces

The IBBAF46 is an ideal solution for vehicles where a subwoofer handles bass duties and small speakers need protection from low-end frequencies. Simple plug-and-play inline installation makes it a straightforward upgrade for any car audio system.
