Cusco LSD 1C7 A Type-MZ Spec-F 1-Way Front Limited Slip Differential

The Cusco LSD 1C7 A is a Type-MZ Spec-F 1-way limited slip differential designed for front axle applications in high-performance Toyota GR vehicles. This mechanical LSD enhances traction and cornering performance by redistributing power from the wheel with less grip to the wheel with better traction during acceleration.

Key Features:

• Type-MZ Spec-F design with flat friction clutch plates for milder initial engagement
• 1-way configuration activates during acceleration only, ideal for front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive front axles
• Initial torque pre-load: 7-9 kg.m for optimal balance between street drivability and track performance
• Specially designed flat friction disk (FFD) combined with outer tabbed MZ plates for smooth operation
• Cusco's innovative oil-through system maintains steady lubrication flow for consistent performance and durability
• Lower initial torque compared to standard cone-type LSDs minimizes power loss in lower horsepower applications
• Direct replacement for factory differential, designed for MT (manual transmission) applications

The 1-way design allows the differential to lock during acceleration for maximum forward traction while remaining inactive during deceleration, which helps prevent understeer when trail braking into corners. This makes it particularly well-suited for circuit driving, autocross, and spirited street use where precise throttle control and improved lap times are priorities.
