Product Details

The QA1 AML8 is a precision aluminum male rod end from the AM Endura Racing Series, designed for performance applications where weight savings and durability are critical. This rod end features QA1's innovative loaded slot design with an injection-molded Nylon/PTFE race that provides superior wear resistance compared to traditional three-piece aluminum rod ends.

Endura Loaded Slot Technology:

The body is machined with a continuous groove around the interior, allowing the ball to be inserted before a Nylon/PTFE material is injected. This creates a self-lubricating, self-sealing race that keeps dirt and debris out while preventing the pounding-out common with traditional PTFE liners. The result is significantly extended service life and consistent performance in demanding motorsports environments.

Ball: 52100 bearing steel, heat treated, hard chrome plated, and precision ground for smooth articulation
Race: Nylon/PTFE injection molded, self-lubricating and self-sealing
Body: Aircraft-grade aluminum, red anodized finish as standard
Configuration: Male rod end with 1/2" bore and 1/2" shank diameter
