SPC Performance 24850 Alignment Shim - Coil Spring Stabilizer 4

The SPC Performance 24850 is a hard rubber coil spring stabilizer designed to restore and maintain proper coil spring operating height for accurate front-end alignment. Worn or sagging coil springs compromise suspension geometry, making precise alignment impossible — these stabilizers wedge between spring coils to bring ride height back to factory specifications and improve handling and tire wear.

Part 24850 is a regular-unit stabilizer designed for average-diameter (0.630 in.) coil springs, with a stabilizer height ("A") of 1-3/4 inches. Two stabilizers are required per coil spring — no more, no less — and when measuring and installing, one space between coils should be skipped. Due to the curvature of some springs, two different sizes may be needed on the same spring (for example, 24700 on the inside of the coil, 24750 on the outside).

Short-Nose Installation Note: If the front stabilizer contacts or rubs against the spring well housing, it must be installed from the inside of the coil springs. SPC offers short-nose variants to address this situation: 24701 (short-nose version of 24700) and 24751 (short-nose version of 24750).
