COMP Cams 89311-16 Hydraulic Roller Lifter Set for Small Block Ford Retrofit

The COMP Cams 89311-16 is a complete hydraulic roller lifter set designed specifically for Small Block Ford retrofit applications. This set provides a cost-effective solution for upgrading flat tappet camshaft engines to roller technology, delivering improved performance, reduced friction, and enhanced durability.

Key Features:

• Engineered for Small Block Ford engines requiring roller lifter conversion
• Hydraulic roller design reduces friction and wear compared to flat tappet lifters
• Retrofit application allows upgrade to roller cam technology without factory roller provisions
• Precision-manufactured for consistent valve train operation and accurate valve timing
• Complete set includes all lifters needed for V8 application (16 lifters)
• EDM oil hole technology ensures proper lubrication throughout the lifter body
• Compatible with COMP Cams retrofit roller camshafts and hydraulic roller valve train systems

This lifter set is ideal for performance street builds, mild racing applications, and anyone looking to reduce valve train friction while maintaining hydraulic simplicity. The roller design minimizes camshaft lobe wear and allows for more aggressive cam profiles compared to flat tappet designs. Installation requires proper valve train components including link bars, guide plates, and hydraulic roller-specific pushrods (sold separately).
