EBC UD2271 Ultimax OEM Replacement Brake Pads

The EBC Ultimax UD2271 brake pad set delivers reliable, OEM-quality stopping power for daily drivers and urban commuters. Engineered and manufactured in EBC's UK facility in Bristol, these brake pads offer an excellent balance of performance, longevity, and value at less than half the cost of original equipment parts.

Key Features:

• Premium brake compound with minimal steel fiber content for reduced dust and noise
• ECE R 90 approved for guaranteed brake safety and performance standards
• Universal heat range capability suitable for cars, light trucks, and SUVs
• Low rotor wear characteristics extend the life of your brake rotors
• Proven formulation unchanged for over 10 years due to consistent performance
• Minimal brake dust production keeps wheels cleaner longer

Unlike competitive budget brake pads that may contain up to 50% steel fiber by volume, Ultimax uses an optimized blend with significantly less steel content. This careful engineering results in quieter operation, better pedal feel, and superior performance once properly bedded in. The black-coded Ultimax line is EBC's worldwide best-selling brake pad, with tens of millions of sets sold, making it a trusted choice for drivers who need dependable stopping power without premium pricing.

Installation Note: Professional installation is recommended. If installing yourself, ensure proper bedding-in procedures are followed and consult your vehicle owner's manual for torque specifications and installation guidance.
