The General HD 2 is an EPA SmartWay Verified medium-duty truck drive position tire designed for long and short haul highway tandem axle applications. This commercial-grade tire delivers exceptional performance for fleets and owner-operators seeking maximum fuel efficiency and extended service life.

Key Features:

• Advanced tread compound with EPA SmartWay verification for low rolling resistance
• Closed shoulder tread design for enhanced durability and even wear
• Patented innovative groove technology for superior traction
• 28/32" tread depth for extended tire life
• Load range G (14 ply rating) for heavy-duty applications
• Overall diameter of 42 inches

This all-season highway tire is specifically engineered for commercial vehicles and must be mounted on drive axle positions. The fuel-saving compound and ribbed tread design significantly reduce rolling resistance, helping to lower fuel consumption and operating costs. Wide circumferential grooves effectively eliminate water and slush from the footprint to prevent hydroplaning, ensuring safe operation in wet conditions.

The optimized tread pattern evenly distributes driving pressure while the advanced compound slows treadwear, preventing irregular and premature wear formations. This design delivers the long tread life and reliability that commercial operations demand.
