Rock Krawler RRD00295RR 2.625 RRD Remote Reservoir Rear Shock

The Rock Krawler RRD00295RR is a 2.625-inch RRD Remote Reservoir Rear Shock engineered for serious off-road performance and heavy-duty truck applications. Built around a fluted aluminum body, this shock delivers the strength and surface area of a larger 3-inch bodied shock while remaining the lightest remote reservoir shock in its class.

Key Features:

• Fluted Aluminum Body: Engineered fluting provides structural rigidity equal to or greater than steel 2.5-inch counterparts, while dramatically reducing weight
• Military-Grade Hard Anodized Coating: Corrosion-resistant finish protects the shock body in the harshest environments
• 1-Inch Nitrotec Steel Shaft: Supported by a high-quality DU bearing; bare Nitrotec finish eliminates the pitting and flaking risks associated with chrome-plated shafts, protecting seals from premature failure
• Billet Aluminum Valve Circuit with Digressive Valving: Precisely controls damping for superior ride quality on and off-road
• Redundant Sealing Technology: Keeps shock oil contained and prevents contamination
• Fade-Free Shock Oil: High-viscosity, shear-stable fluid formulated for consistent damping and smooth rebound even under extreme heat cycles
• Custom Moly Piston Wear Band: Significantly reduces internal shock body wear for extended service life
• Remote Reservoir Design: Increases fluid volume for faster heat dissipation — cools twice as fast as comparable steel-body shocks for fade-resistant performance

All Rock Krawler RRD shocks are backed by a 6-month warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, reflecting the brand's confidence in their precision engineering and build quality.
