PureFlow AirDog A7SABD524 II-5G DF-165-5G Diesel Fuel Air Separation System 165 GPH

The PureFlow AirDog II-5G A7SABD524 DF-165-5G is a complete diesel lift pump and fuel/air separation system delivering 165 gallons per hour (625 LPH) of clean, air-free fuel. Engineered as the fifth-generation evolution of the AirDog platform, the II-5G is designed to be the most efficient, longest-lasting, and quietest lift pump system AirDog offers.

This system mounts to the frame rail using the supplied sandwich plate mounting system. A draw straw installs in the fuel tank to supply fuel to the pump, and the pressure side connects directly into the side of the P-Pump, bypassing the factory fuel filter housing and block-mounted pump. The injection pump return is tied into the engine return to eliminate the need for the factory filter head, while the AirDog air/vapor return is sent back to the tank through the filler neck return tee.

The II-5G features a 4-bearing motor with an intermediate shaft that centers the gerotor pump and shaft seal, reducing noise and improving long-term reliability. A dual feed gerotor pump supplies fuel to both sides of the pump simultaneously, dramatically decreasing air bubble formation and cavitation. The demand flow design ensures the pump delivers only the fuel the engine requires at any given moment, improving efficiency.

An adjustable diaphragm-style fuel pressure regulator comes preset at 30 PSI out of the box and is fully adjustable from 7 to 70 PSI. The diaphragm design also allows for boost compensation capability to maintain consistent fuel pressure under open-throttle, high-boost conditions (boost compensation kit sold separately). Larger 3/4-16 O-ring boss inlet and outlet ports over previous generations support the system's high flow demands, while a 7/16-20 (-4) low-flow return prevents aeration in fuel returned to the tank. The II-5G also retains compatibility with the proven FF100-2 fuel filter and WS100 water separator used in previous AirDog II models.

This system includes a 5/8-inch high-flow suction tube to accommodate the 165 GPH flow rate. Installation requires either dropping the fuel tank or lifting the truck bed. California EO Approved (CARB EO #D-595-5). Made in USA.
