Cusco LSD 159 L15 Type-RS Limited Slip Differential 1.5-Way 2-Way 8-Inch

The Cusco LSD 159 L15 is a Type-RS limited slip differential engineered for high-performance street applications. This unit features a dual-configuration design with 1.5-way (55/20 ramp angle) and 2-way (55/55 ramp angle) settings in an A-size 8-inch housing, providing versatility for different driving styles and conditions.

Key Features:

• Type-RS design with inner coil spring system for consistent, even pressure distribution across friction plates
• Dual configuration capability: 1.5-way activates under acceleration with reduced deceleration under-steer, while 2-way activates on both acceleration and deceleration
• Lower initial torque compared to cone-plate designs, offering smoother engagement ideal for street performance
• Oil-through system ensures positive pressurized flow of differential gear oil through all components
• Radially-cut clutch plate grooves enable instant oil movement for improved efficiency and durability
• Polished pressure ring contact surface provides even, flat contact with clutch plates
• A-size 8-inch differential housing compatible with select Toyota applications

The Type-RS design minimizes clutch plate chattering through consistent pressure application while prolonging plate life. The RS spring system allows for less initial lock than traditional LSDs while maintaining similar response characteristics, making it well-suited for enthusiasts who demand performance without compromising street manners.
