Product Details

These retainers are machined from premium heat-treated 6Al-4V titanium alloy in Manley's own CNC turning centers, delivering an exceptional combination of low mass and high strength for demanding valvetrain builds.

The "TM" designation indicates these retainers include Manley's exclusive Tensile Max impingement surface enhancement process, which results in improved abrasion resistance, increased fatigue strength, and a superior surface finish — making them ideal for sustained high-RPM use in drag racing, circle track, road racing, and aggressive street performance applications.

Key Features:

  • Super 7° lock angle for superior valve stem clamping properties
  • Manufactured from heat-treated 6Al-4V titanium alloy
  • Tensile Max (TM) impingement surface treatment for enhanced durability and fatigue resistance
  • CNC-machined for precise fit and consistent dimensions
  • Significantly reduces valvetrain reciprocating mass compared to steel retainers
  • Enables higher RPM potential and improved valve control
  • Suitable for drag racing, circle track, road racing, and high-performance street builds

Manley Performance has been manufacturing precision valvetrain components since 1966, and the RET-TENSILE MAX SUPER 7 retainers represent their commitment to quality and innovation for professional engine builders. Always verify spring O.D. compatibility when selecting retainers for your specific application.

Autoplicity had the lowest price by far and shipping was very fast (ordered Wednesday evening, arrived Saturday morning). I will definitely order from Autoplicity again!

Did not mention anything about mounting hardware, will cancel sale if no mounting kit, thank you

Very pleasant order over the phone. Gentleman was smart, cheerful and helpful.

Just what you want from a merchant but don't expect; fast, courteous service and attention to the details of your order. I'm a happy consumer. Thank you, Autoplicity. I'll be back.

thanks it was simple

Autoplicity cares about there customers. I ordered a flash programmer and got to the last page and never got a confirmation of the order. I used the website chat and talked to somebody about it right away. So I ordered again and got a conformation. But both went though. Autoplicity called me next day a.m. to see if I made a mistake. Thanks for letting me know and correcting to one order. Saved me from shipping back a product I dind't need.

Exact product as promised with the best price on the internet. Product shipped fast and had a tracking number to keep me up to date on my order. I would order from again without hesitation and will tell friends.
