At the heart of this kit are Skyjacker's Softride® front leaf springs, individually shot-peened with hard steel pellets at high velocity to maximize spring strength and durability. The springs feature tapered leafs that distribute loads more evenly across the spring pack and promote greater flex at the leaf ends for improved articulation. Teflon® wear pads between each leaf, combined with bolt-style spring clips, virtually eliminate inter-leaf friction and binding — a notable advantage over traditional cinch-style clip designs.
