Product Details

The QA1 HML5T is a precision-engineered H Series three-piece alloy rod end built for performance suspension, steering, and linkage applications. Featuring a 5/16 in. (0.3125 in.) bore and 5/16-24 left-hand male threads, this rod end is ideal for applications requiring precise thread direction control, such as adjustable suspension links and tie rods.

QA1's H Series three-piece design delivers higher ball-to-race conformity, resulting in tighter tolerances compared to standard two-piece rod ends. This makes the HML5T well-suited for precision applications where fit and dimensional accuracy are critical. The rod end is heat treated throughout for enhanced strength and durability.

Ball: 52100 bearing steel, heat treated, precision ground, and hard chrome plated for wear resistance
Race: Chromoly heat treated steel, corrosion and wear resistant
Body: Chromoly steel, heat treated with protective coating for corrosion resistance
PTFE race lining for self-lubricating, maintenance-friendly operation
5/16 in. bore with 5/16-24 left-hand (LH) male threads
Three-piece alloy construction for high strength and tight tolerances

They had the best price on a hitch I was looking for and the shipping was fast also. The hitch was shipped bare except for taping the box of bolts to it thus leaving the hitch open and chipping the paint/powdercoating in quite a few places which I had to touch up before installing.
