Manley 13172-8 10 Degree Valve Locks 7mm Bead Loc +.050 Height Steel 8-Pair Set

Manley 13172-8 precision-machined valve locks are engineered for high-performance engine builds requiring superior valve train reliability. These 10-degree angle valve locks are designed to work exclusively with Manley 10-degree retainers, providing optimal clamping force and valve control under extreme operating conditions.

Key Features:

• 10-degree machined steel construction from high-quality steel alloy
• 7mm (.2740") valve stem diameter compatibility
• Bead Loc radius groove design for enhanced durability and reduced valve stem wear
• +.050" increased installed height for custom valvetrain geometry
• Heat-treated with black oxide finish for corrosion resistance
• Thicker design than competitive locks for superior strength
• 6.5 grams per pair weight
• Set includes 8 pairs (16 individual locks)

The Bead Loc groove system features a full radius design with contact points at approximately 2 and 10 o'clock positions, not at the groove root. This design minimizes vertical movement during valve float conditions and reduces erosion for extended valve life. Manley valve locks are a favorite among drag racing and NASCAR engine builders who demand reliability under extreme stress. Each lock is precision-machined to exacting tolerances for consistent performance and perfect fitment.
