Goodyear Custom Flo-Grip Radial R-2 Agricultural Rear Drive Tire

The Goodyear Custom Flo-Grip Radial R-2 is a purpose-built agricultural rear drive tire engineered for the most demanding wet and soft soil environments. Carrying the R-2 designation — signifying extra-deep tread depth approximately twice that of a standard R-1 agricultural tire — this line delivers exceptional traction, durability, and sustained pulling power in flooded paddies, muddy cane fields, and heavily saturated soils. It is a trusted solution for commercial agricultural operators who depend on consistent performance in the harshest field conditions.

Built on a modern radial construction platform, the Custom Flo-Grip R-2 evolves Goodyear's proven original Custom Flo-Grip lug design — bringing improved performance, longer service life, and greater load capacity to today's large-frame tractors and implements.

Key Features:

• R-2 Extra-Deep Tread Design: Approximately twice the tread depth of R-1 tires for superior longevity and grip in wet, soft, and muddy soil conditions
• Custom Flo-Grip Lug Pattern: Aggressive, self-cleaning lug design inherited from Goodyear's original — continuously expels mud and debris to maintain consistent traction throughout the full work cycle
• Radial Construction: Improved radial shape delivers better load distribution, reduced soil compaction, and enhanced ride quality compared to bias-ply alternatives
• Increased Lug Bracing: Reinforced lug structure provides high-load durability and improved wear resistance under heavy torque demands
• Field-to-Road Capability: Rated to handle transport speeds up to 30 mph between field operations and job sites
• LSW (Low Sidewall) Configurations Available: Select variants offer Low Sidewall technology for further reduction in soil compaction and improved equipment stability
• IF (Improved Flexion) Configurations Available: Certain variants are built to IF standards, allowing operation at lower inflation pressures for a larger footprint and reduced ground pressure

Benefits:

• Outstanding pulling power and traction in flooded rice paddies, muddy cane fields, and waterlogged soils
• Self-cleaning tread pattern prevents mud packing between lugs, maintaining grip throughout the entire work cycle
• Radial casing reduces ground pressure to help protect soil structure and support crop yield potential
• Heavy-duty load ratings support large commercial tractors and implements
• Available across a wide range of configurations — including standard radial, LSW, and IF variants — to match diverse equipment and field requirements

Trusted by farmers and agricultural professionals worldwide, the Goodyear Custom Flo-Grip Radial R-2 tire line is engineered to meet the demands of modern commercial agriculture across a broad spectrum of tractor platforms and the most punishing field conditions.
