Michelin Pilot Street Radial Motorcycle Tire

The Michelin Pilot Street Radial brings genuine radial tire technology to the sport and sport-touring motorcycle segment, delivering a meaningful performance upgrade over traditional bias-ply construction. Derived directly from Michelin's acclaimed radial Sport Touring lineup, this tire line inherits proven engineering and a tread design with roots in the legendary Michelin Pilot Road 2 — combining sporty performance with the longevity and reliability Michelin is known for worldwide.

Key Features:

• Radial Construction: Independent sidewall and tread zones each perform a dedicated role — supple sidewalls absorb road imperfections for enhanced comfort and stability at speed, while the tread maintains firm, consistent road contact for confident handling
• Superior Wet Weather Grip: A 100% silica rubber compound delivers outstanding traction on wet and slippery surfaces, earning best-in-category wet grip performance among sport-touring tires for smaller displacement motorcycles
• Optimized Contact Patch: Shorter but wider than a comparable bias-ply tire, the contact patch provides increased grip at extreme lean angles during aggressive cornering
• Precision Handling Profile: A slightly sharper tire profile promotes excellent steering precision under normal riding conditions, with a steeper shoulder for enhanced accuracy as lean angle increases
• Tread Pattern Engineered for Longevity: The tread pattern is specifically designed to minimize uneven wear and maximize mileage, while simultaneously enhancing wet weather performance
• Consistent Long-Term Performance: Radial architecture ensures more even contact patch pressure distribution throughout the tire's life, delivering reliable and predictable performance mile after mile — with superior longevity compared to bias-ply alternatives
• Sport-Derived Styling: Tread design borrowed from the Michelin Pilot Road 2 gives the tire an aggressive, sporty appearance that complements the look of modern sport and entry-level sportbikes

The Michelin Pilot Street Radial line represents a genuine advancement for riders seeking premium radial performance on smaller and mid-size displacement motorcycles. Whether used for daily commuting, spirited sport riding, or mixed-use touring, these tires deliver the confidence-inspiring grip, responsive handling, and legendary Michelin quality that riders have trusted for decades.
