Continental HDR Commercial Truck Tire - Regional Drive

The Continental HDR (Heavy Drive Regional) is a purpose-engineered commercial truck tire line built for drive axle applications across regional, local, and mixed-service fleet operations. Developed on Continental's proven casing platform with a multi-service tread compound, the HDR line delivers a fleet-focused balance of low rolling resistance, durable traction, and extended casing life — making it a sound total-cost-of-ownership investment for professional fleet operators.

Key Features:

• EPA SmartWay Verified Low Rolling Resistance — engineered to support improved fuel economy across regional and mixed-service duty cycles, with rolling resistance measured to ISO 28580 standards
• Open shoulder tread pattern with tie-bar design — promotes even tread wear, reduces road noise, and delivers reliable traction in both wet and dry conditions
• Aggressive tread design for lateral stability — minimizes squirm and improves handling under load, supporting consistent performance in demanding regional applications
• Tapered tread grooves — reduce stone retention and stone drilling to protect casing integrity throughout the full service life of the tire
• Retread-ready Continental casing — robust casing construction warrantied for retreading, lowering long-term fleet operating costs and supporting sustainability initiatives
• Multi-service tread compound — balances wear resistance with traction performance to handle the demands of local delivery, regional distribution, and mixed on/off-highway applications
• Cooler running temperatures — structural modifications reduce heat buildup, extending mileage and protecting casing durability over the tire's full lifecycle
• ContiConnect compatible — select variants support Continental's intelligent tire monitoring platform, enabling real-time fleet visibility and proactive maintenance scheduling

The Continental HDR tire line serves medium- and heavy-duty commercial trucks across a wide range of vocations including regional haul, local delivery, beverage distribution, utility, and mixed on/off-highway service.
