General GRABBER OA WIDE BASE Commercial Truck Tire

The General Grabber OA Wide Base is a heavy-duty super single commercial truck tire engineered for aggressive all-position service in medium-duty and heavy-duty vocational applications. Purpose-built for the most demanding work environments — including construction, refuse hauling, material transport, utility, and heavy equipment fleets — this wide base tire line delivers the high carrying capacity, severe-service durability, and versatile traction that professional fleet operators depend on across mixed on-road and off-road conditions.

Key Features:

• Aggressive All-Position Tread Pattern: A multi-service tread design provides excellent traction across all wheel positions in both on-road and off-road applications, making it a true multi-vocation workhorse
• Wide Base Super Single Construction: Replaces conventional dual-tire configurations, reducing overall vehicle weight while maintaining exceptional load-carrying capacity — improving efficiency at every wheel end
• Cut and Chip Resistant Tread Compound: Formulated specifically for severe vocational service, the specialized rubber compound guards the tread against damage in abrasive, mixed-terrain conditions and extends overall service life
• Deep Tread Depth: Generous tread depth enhances traction in demanding conditions and contributes to longer, more productive removal mileage
• Thick Under-Tread Gauge: Resists casing penetration and structural damage under heavy loads and rough terrain, protecting casing integrity throughout the tire's working life
• Patented Stone Ejector Groove Technology: General Tire's patented innovative groove design minimizes stone retention to protect the casing and extend tire life
• Reinforced Sidewall: Reduces damage from curbing, cuts, and abrasions common in mixed on/off-road vocational environments, contributing to casing longevity
• Retread-Ready Casing: Purpose-built for multiple retread cycles, maximizing total casing value and lowering the long-term cost of ownership for commercial fleets

Developed under Continental's global engineering platform, the General Grabber OA Wide Base line is built for vocational fleets that demand durability and versatility without compromise. The wide base super single format simplifies wheel-end maintenance, reduces unsprung weight, and supports efficient, high-capacity operation across the toughest work environments in the industry.
