Hankook DH37 SmartWay Verified Commercial Drive Tire

The Hankook DH37 is a SmartWay and CARB Verified medium-duty commercial radial drive tire engineered for regional haul and school bus applications. Purpose-built for fleet operators who demand maximum uptime, long tread life, and all-weather reliability, the DH37 delivers a proven combination of traction, fuel efficiency, and structural durability across demanding drive-axle service cycles.

Advanced Tread Design:

• Hybrid Rib and Block Tread Pattern: A combination of rib and block tread elements delivers superior traction, extended mileage, and reduced irregular wear for consistent long-term performance
• 3D Kerf Technology: Strategically placed three-dimensional sipes enhance tread block flexibility for improved wet and dry traction without sacrificing block rigidity or handling stability
• Four-Channel Zig-Zag Traction Grooves: Engineered groove geometry improves traction and braking performance on wet and variable road surfaces, reducing stopping distances in demanding conditions
• Semi-Open Shoulder Lug Design: Optimized shoulder configuration provides excellent grip across variable road conditions while promoting even wear and extended service life
• Tie-Bar Technology: Increases tread block stiffness for better handling stability, resistance to irregular wear, and improved total cost of ownership over the full service life

Proprietary Construction Technologies:

• SCCT (Strain Control Carcass Technology): Controls the dispersion of internal carcass forces to reduce profile deformation, improving overall structural durability and casing integrity
• Innovative Mixing System (IMS): Minimizes polymer chain breakdown and oxidation while increasing carbon black dispersion, strengthening compound bonding for longer mileage and lower heat generation — directly supporting improved fuel efficiency

Compliance and Environmental Performance:

• SmartWay and CARB Verified: Meets strict EPA SmartWay standards for low rolling resistance, helping fleets achieve fuel economy targets and reduce operating emissions
• M+S Rated / All-Season Capability: Multi-season tread compound delivers reliable performance in dry, wet, and light winter conditions throughout the regional haul cycle

The Hankook DH37 is an ideal drive-axle solution for fleet operators seeking a dependable, fuel-efficient commercial tire that minimizes cost per mile. Available in a range of commercial sizes to serve medium-duty truck and school bus applications across diverse fleet requirements.
