Michelin XDS2 Standard Commercial Truck Drive Axle Tire

The Michelin XDS2 Standard represents the second generation of Michelin's premier drive axle radial tire engineered specifically for deep snow and mud traction in commercial truck and bus applications. This drive axle radial delivers year-round traction optimized for winter conditions and limited all-position service in regional and on/off road applications.

Advanced Traction Technology:

• Rugged Directional Tread Design: Excellent traction in mud and deep snow with open shoulder grooves and aggressive zigzag center grooves that helps reduce heel/toe wear typically associated with open shoulder designs
• Matrix 3D Siping: Sipes provide hundreds of biting edges that lock together when in contact with the road, adding strength and improving wear for longer-lasting performance
• SipeSaver Technology: Teardrop at the base of the shoulder sipe relieves stress and helps prevent tearing

Exceptional Durability Features:

• Four-Belt Crown Package: Extra robust construction with extra wide working plies helps deliver exceptional casing life
• Enhanced Protection: Full-width elastic protector ply and extra thick rubber under the tread help protect the working plies from shocks, bruises, and impacts
• Retreadable Casing: Built for multiple life cycles to help reduce total cost of ownership in fleet operations
• Reinforced Sidewalls: Extra thick sidewall and shoulder deliver extra protection against shocks and impacts

The Michelin XDS2 Standard tire combines proven Michelin Durable Technology with enhanced traction capabilities, making it the ideal choice for medium-duty trucks, commercial buses, and fleet operators who demand reliable performance in challenging winter conditions and off-road environments.
