Goodyear G647 RSS Commercial Truck Tire - Steer/All-Position

The Goodyear G647 RSS is a premium commercial truck tire engineered for medium-duty steer and all-position applications. Built to handle the rigorous demands of regional pickup and delivery, refuse collection, urban distribution, and vocational service environments, the G647 RSS combines a purpose-built high-scrub tread compound with an enhanced casing construction to deliver outstanding durability, wet-weather confidence, and long-term value across every mile of service.

High-Scrub Tread Technology:

• High-scrub tread compound uniquely formulated to resist accelerated wear caused by aggressive cornering, curb contact, frequent turning, and stop-and-go urban driving cycles
• High-silica compound engineered to deliver strong fuel efficiency without sacrificing durability or wet-surface grip
• Deep circumferential grooves and an increased number of lateral blades channel water away efficiently, resisting hydroplaning for confident wet-weather performance
• Rounded tread radius distributes contact pressure evenly across the footprint, reducing irregular wear and extending overall tread life
• M+S rated for dependable all-season traction in dry, wet, muddy, and light snow conditions

Durability and Casing Strength:

• Enhanced casing construction delivers improved toughness, durability, and retreadability — maximizing total value across the full service life of each tire
• Raised sidewall protector ribs guard against scuffing and impact damage from curb strikes and tight-quarters maneuvering
• Integrated sidewall wear indicators provide early visual warning of excessive scuff damage before it becomes a safety concern

Versatile Application:

• Engineered for steer and all-position use on commercial trucks and buses across a wide range of medium-duty vocational applications
• Well-suited for motorhomes and RVs requiring heavy-duty load capacity and reliable all-season performance
• Available across multiple sizes and load ranges to accommodate a broad variety of medium-duty commercial vehicle configurations

Backed by Goodyear's century of tire engineering expertise, the G647 RSS delivers the tread life, wet traction, and sidewall protection that fleet operators and owner-operators depend on to keep vehicles productive in the most demanding urban and regional service conditions.
