Goodyear G622 RSD Commercial Truck Drive Tire

The Goodyear G622 RSD is a medium-duty radial drive tire engineered for commercial trucks and buses operating in regional and urban pickup and delivery environments. Purpose-built for fleet service, this tire line combines proven tread technology with advanced casing construction to deliver consistent, dependable performance through demanding daily duty cycles — including the frequent stops, starts, and high-scrub conditions typical of local route operations.

Key Features:

• Goodyear Signature Rugged Blading: Deep, wide grooves paired with Goodyear's proprietary blading deliver strong traction on wet and dry surfaces, supporting confident handling across varying road and weather conditions
• Tie-Barred Shoulders: Engineered to improve handling stability and promote even, long-lasting tread wear while resisting irregular wear patterns — reducing replacement frequency and lowering cost-per-mile for fleet operators
• Increased Wearable Tread Rubber: Greater tread depth and rubber volume contribute to improved mileage and extended service life across the full duty cycle
• Unisteel® Construction: Goodyear's proprietary multi-steel-belt technology enhances structural integrity, overall toughness, and casing strength for reliable, long-term fleet performance
• Retread-Ready Casing: Robust rubber compound and reinforced steel-belt construction are engineered to support retreading, helping fleet managers maximize total tire value and reduce long-term operating costs
• All-Season Traction: The aggressive tread pattern provides reliable grip year-round, making the G622 RSD well-suited for regional and local high-scrub applications regardless of season
• Regional and Urban Optimized: Designed specifically for the stop-and-go demands of local and regional pickup and delivery routes, where durability and consistent tread wear matter most
