Firestone Flotation 23° Deep Tread HF-3 Agricultural Bias Flotation Tire

The Firestone Flotation 23° Deep Tread HF-3 is a high-flotation agricultural bias tire engineered for superior performance in moist to wet soil conditions. Built for broad-land and row-crop applications, this tire line is trusted by agricultural operators across a wide range of implements — including grain carts, spreaders, wagons, and heavy field equipment — season after season.

At the heart of the HF-3 design is an R-1W tread depth approximately 25% deeper in the center compared to a standard R-1 tire, delivering the extra traction and pulling power needed in the most demanding field conditions. The proven 23° angled tread bar platform transfers horsepower to the ground more efficiently, helping reduce fuel consumption and field time. An extra-wide tire profile spreads equipment weight over a larger ground contact area, minimizing soil compaction and preserving soil structure during critical planting and harvest windows.

Key Features:

• R-1W Deep Tread Design: Approximately 25% deeper center lug depth versus standard R-1 tread provides maximum traction and pull in wet, muddy field conditions.
• Proven 23° Tread Bar Geometry: Angled tread bars grip the surface for efficient horsepower transfer, saving time and fuel during field operations.
• Wide Flotation Footprint: Extra-wide profile distributes equipment weight across a larger contact area, reducing soil compaction and protecting field structure.
• Rounded Shoulder Construction: Minimizes soil disturbance during turns to reduce crop and turf damage in row-crop applications.
• Extra-Deep Lug Durability: Deep treads resist cuts, snags, and tears from stubble, rocks, and field debris for extended tire life.
• Bias Ply Construction: Durable nylon-cord body delivers strong load-carrying capacity and excellent resistance to sidewall impact damage.
• Self-Cleaning Tread Pattern: Aggressive lug spacing ejects mud and debris to maintain consistent traction in wet and muddy conditions.

The Firestone Flotation 23° Deep Tread HF-3 is available across a broad range of configurations to suit various agricultural equipment and operational requirements. Backed by Firestone's Agricultural Tire Warranty and decades of engineering heritage, this tire line is built to perform from planting through harvest.
