Fox Racing Shocks 981-02-425-1 3.0 Series 12-Tube Bypass Shock 2 Comp / 1 Reb / 1 Gold Valve Custom Valving

The Fox Racing Shocks 981-02-425-1 is a premium 3.0 Series bypass shock absorber built for extreme off-road performance. Featuring a 12-tube bypass configuration — 2 compression, 1 rebound, and 1 Gold Valve tube — this shock delivers unmatched tunability and damping control across the full range of suspension travel.

Constructed around a 3.0-inch main body diameter with a 1.00-inch shaft and piggyback reservoir design, this unit is engineered for high-demand applications where heat dissipation, consistency, and precision valving are critical. The included Fox Gold Valve further refines mid-stroke and blow-off characteristics for a more controlled and comfortable ride at speed.

Key Features:

• 3.0 Series main body for maximum oil volume and heat management
• 12-tube bypass design — 2 compression zones, 1 rebound zone, 1 Gold Valve zone
• 1.00-inch diameter hardened shock shaft for rigidity and durability
• Piggyback (P/B) reservoir for additional oil capacity and cooler operating temperatures
• Fox Gold Valve included for enhanced valving refinement
• Custom valving (SC — Straight Compression) tailored for specific performance demands
• Aluminum body construction for lightweight strength
• Rebuildable and re-valvable for long service life

Designed for serious off-road racing and performance truck applications, the Fox 3.0 Series bypass shock provides the level of suspension sophistication demanded by desert racing, rock crawling, and high-speed trail use. Custom valving ensures this shock is dialed in for maximum performance right out of the box.
