Cusco LSD 160 F2 Type-RS Limited Slip Differential 1&2 Way Rear

The Cusco LSD 160 F2 is a Type-RS mechanical limited slip differential designed for rear-wheel drive Toyota applications. This high-performance LSD features Cusco's innovative coil spring technology that provides smooth, progressive engagement characteristics ideal for both street and track use.

Key Features:

• Type-RS design with center coil spring preload system for consistent initial torque
• Switchable 1&2 Way configuration - pre-set to 2-way, convertible to 1-way by reversing the internal cam profile
• High-strength forged chromium-molybdenum steel housing, gears, and components for extreme durability
• Lower initial torque setting than MZ-type models for smoother street driving and reduced clutch plate wear
• Adjustable spring preload by adding or removing RS coil springs for custom tuning
• Radially-cut clutch plate grooves for improved oil flow and heat dissipation
• Polished pressure ring contact surfaces for even, flat engagement with clutch plates
• Oil Through System case design for maximum cooling and reliability
• Two ramp angle position options for tuning differential response

The Type-RS utilizes coil springs between the pressure rings rather than traditional cone springs, resulting in more progressive locking characteristics, improved throttle sensitivity, and extended service intervals. This LSD is engineered for demanding applications including street performance, road racing, time attack, and drift competition. Compatible with various Toyota platforms including Supra, Crown, Celica, and other rear-drive models with open differential housings.
