HKS 22999-AN001 Valve Spring Retainer Set SR20DET

The HKS 22999-AN001 is a performance valve spring retainer set engineered specifically for the Nissan SR20DET engine. Designed as a direct complement to HKS upgraded valve springs and performance camshafts, these retainers are built to withstand the increased valvetrain stresses associated with high-revving, modified SR20DET applications.

As part of HKS's comprehensive SR20DET valvetrain upgrade program, these retainers work in conjunction with upgraded valve springs to maintain precise valve control at elevated RPM. When combined with high-lift camshafts and stiffer valve springs, quality retainers are essential to prevent valve float, ensure consistent spring seating, and maintain valvetrain integrity under sustained high-performance use.

Key Features:

• Precision-engineered valve spring retainers for the Nissan SR20DET engine
• Designed to pair with HKS performance valve springs and camshaft upgrades
• Provides secure spring retention at high RPM where OEM retainers may be inadequate
• Part of HKS's full SR20DET valvetrain upgrade system
• Manufactured to HKS's exacting quality and dimensional standards
• Sold as a set to service all valves on the SR20DET 16-valve DOHC cylinder head

HKS has been a global leader in performance engine components since 1973, and the 22999-AN001 retainer set reflects their commitment to precision valvetrain engineering for serious SR20DET builds.
