Prothane 4-1009-BL Leaf Spring Eye & Shackle Bushing Kit Black Polyurethane

Prothane's 4-1009-BL Leaf Spring Eye and Shackle Bushing Kit is engineered to replace worn or deteriorated OEM rubber bushings in leaf spring suspension systems. Leaf spring pivot points and shackles are subjected to intense lateral and vertical forces, making bushing integrity critical to ride quality, handling precision, and suspension longevity. Prothane's premium-grade black polyurethane formulation delivers significantly greater durability and resistance to compression set than factory rubber components.

Key Features:

• Manufactured from premium-grade polyurethane for superior strength and longevity over OEM rubber
• Resists oil, grease, solvents, and ozone degradation that commonly deteriorate rubber bushings
• Precision-fabricated sleeves and hardware included to ensure a correct, rattle-free fit
• Reduces suspension slop and improves handling response by eliminating bushing deflection
• Black (BL) finish for a clean, factory-style appearance
• Complete kit includes all necessary bushings, sleeves, and related hardware for a full installation

Upgrading to Prothane polyurethane bushings restores tight, precise suspension geometry and extends service intervals well beyond what OEM rubber allows. All components are precision fabricated to meet or exceed original equipment specifications for a straightforward, professional-quality installation.
