Cusco LSD 985 F Type RS Limited Slip Differential 1-Way & 2-Way Rear

The Cusco LSD 985 F Type RS is a high-performance limited slip differential designed for rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive rear axle applications. This advanced drivetrain component optimizes power transfer to the wheels, dramatically improving traction, cornering stability, and overall vehicle control compared to standard open differentials.

Key Features:

• Type RS design with precision spring technology for reduced noise and improved durability
• 1-way and 2-way interchangeable configuration allows customization for different driving styles
• 50-70% lower initial torque compared to conventional cone plate type LSDs for better response
• Reduced clutch plate pressure extends service life and minimizes wear
• Enhanced oil flow between plates for higher efficiency and lower operating temperatures
• Proven in competition use including the All Japan Gymkhana Championship
• ISO 9001 certified manufacturing for consistent quality

Configuration Options:

• 1-Way: Activates under acceleration only, ideal for daily driving and front-wheel drive applications
• 2-Way: Activates on both acceleration and deceleration, recommended for rear-wheel drive cars and aggressive driving styles including drifting

The Type RS LSD eliminates power loss during challenging conditions by limiting wheel slip and distributing torque effectively to all driving wheels. This translates to sharper turn-in, improved grip in corners, and enhanced vehicle predictability during high-performance driving. Manufactured by Cusco, a leading Japanese performance parts manufacturer with extensive motorsports experience.
