ARP 134-3709 SBC Gen III LS Series 12-Point Head Bolt Kit

The ARP 134-3709 head bolt kit is specifically engineered for small block Chevy Gen III/LS series engines produced in 2003 and earlier. These premium head bolts feature 12-point heads for improved wrench engagement and more accurate torque readings during installation.

Key Features:

• Designed for SBC Gen III/LS engines (2003 and earlier models)
• 12-point head design provides superior grip and reduces rounding
• Manufactured from ARP's proprietary 8740 chromoly steel alloy
• Heat-treated to 200,000 psi tensile strength for maximum clamping force
• Black oxide finish for corrosion resistance
• Includes premium-quality ARP Ultra-Torque fastener assembly lubricant
• Each kit contains all bolts needed for complete head installation

ARP head bolts provide significantly improved clamping force over factory fasteners, ensuring proper head gasket sealing under high-performance and high-boost applications. These bolts are essential for engines running forced induction, nitrous oxide, or high compression ratios where head gasket failure is a common concern.

This kit is compatible with LS1, LS6, LQ4, LQ9, and other Gen III LS-based engines through the 2003 model year. Always follow ARP's torque specifications and installation procedures for optimal performance.
