The Michelin Pilot Sport 4S is a max performance summer tire engineered in cooperation with elite manufacturers including Porsche, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Audi, utilizing racing technologies developed during competition at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Designed for sports cars, high-performance sedans, and powerful luxury vehicles, this tire delivers exceptional steering precision, directional stability, and unparalleled driving pleasure on both road and occasional track use.

Advanced Bi-Compound Technology:

• Asymmetric tread pattern features side-by-side compound zones optimized for specific conditions
• Outer shoulder uses a hybrid dry-focused compound that maximizes grip and handling on dry pavement
• Inner tread area and center ribs feature a silica-infused wet compound with functional elastomers for consistent wet traction and braking
• Wide circumferential grooves channel water away from the contact patch to resist hydroplaning

High-Speed Performance and Durability:

• Dynamic Response Technology with hybrid aramid and nylon belt reinforcement above twin steel belts
• Maintains optimal tire shape at high speeds for enhanced handling, wear resistance, and durability
• Variable Contact Patch 3.0 optimizes pressure distribution across the footprint to reduce hot spots and extend tire life
• Single-ply polyester cord casing balances responsive handling with ride comfort

Premium Design Features:

• Select sizes feature Michelin Premium Touch sidewall treatment with velvet-effect checkered design
• Deep rim protector helps guard against light wheel damage
• Y-speed rating supports continuous operation up to 186 mph
• XL (Extra Load) construction for increased load-carrying capacity

Important: This is a summer tire designed exclusively for warm weather performance. It is not intended for use in near- or below-freezing temperatures, through snow, or on ice, as the compound loses its grip capability in cold conditions.
