The QA1 AFL5 is an A Series Endura aluminum rod end featuring a female left-hand 5/16-24 thread and a 5/16 in. (0.3125 in.) bore. Engineered for performance builds where reducing weight without sacrificing strength is a priority, this rod end is a popular choice for circle track, sprint car radius rods, drag racing, and street performance suspension applications.

The AFL5 uses QA1's proprietary loader slot (two-piece) body design, which delivers over 10% weight savings compared to traditional three-piece aluminum rod ends while maintaining maximum strength. The body is machined from 7075 aircraft aluminum and finished with a distinctive red anodized coating. The bearing ball is made from heat-treated, hard chrome plated 52100 bearing steel for precision and durability.
