Fox Racing Shocks 980-02-113-1 2.5 Series 14-Inch Bypass Shock with Custom Valving

The Fox Racing Shocks 980-02-113-1 is a high-performance 14-inch bypass shock from the 2.5 Series lineup, engineered for demanding off-road applications. This shock features a sophisticated bypass design with 2 compression zones and 1 rebound zone, providing precise tuning capability across the shock's stroke for optimal performance over varying terrain.

Key Features:

• 14-inch stroke length for extended travel capability
• 2.5-inch diameter shock body for increased oil capacity and improved heat dissipation
• Dual compression bypass tubes and single rebound bypass tube for independent tuning control
• Remote reservoir (R/R) configuration for flexible mounting and consistent performance
• Black anodized finish for corrosion resistance and professional appearance
• Custom valving tailored for specific vehicle setup and driver preferences
• High-quality seals and precision machining for long-term durability

The bypass tube design allows for position-sensitive damping, meaning the shock can be tuned to provide different damping forces at different points in the suspension travel. This enables superior control during both compression and rebound, particularly beneficial for high-speed desert racing, rock crawling, and extreme off-road use. The remote reservoir design helps maintain consistent damping performance by keeping shock oil temperatures stable during extended use.
