Fox Racing Shocks 980-02-221-1 2.5 Series Bypass Shock 12 Inch Piggyback

The Fox Racing Shocks 980-02-221-1 is a high-performance 2.5 Series bypass shock designed for demanding off-road applications. This 12-inch travel shock features an advanced piggyback (P/B) reservoir design with dual compression and dual rebound bypass tubes, delivering exceptional damping control across the entire range of suspension travel.

Key Features:

• 2.5-inch shock body diameter for increased oil capacity and heat dissipation
• 12 inches of wheel travel for maximum suspension articulation
• Dual compression and dual rebound bypass zones (2 Comp / 2 Reb) for precise tuning
• Piggyback reservoir configuration for compact mounting and reduced hose complexity
• Custom valving tailored for specific performance requirements
• Black anodized finish on CNC-machined aluminum components
• Seamless steel shock body with zinc plating for corrosion resistance
• High-temp Viton seals for reliable performance in extreme conditions
• Hard chrome plated shaft for durability and low friction

Fox Racing Shox bypass technology allows the shock to be tuned differently at various points in the suspension travel, providing plush ride quality during small bumps while maintaining control during hard impacts. The piggyback reservoir design keeps the shock's overall package compact while providing the oil volume needed for consistent performance and heat management. This shock is ideal for rock crawling, desert racing, and extreme off-road applications where maximum suspension performance is critical.
