Fox Racing Shocks 980-02-217 18" Bypass Shock 2.5 Series Piggyback

The Fox Racing Shocks 980-02-217 is an 18-inch bypass shock absorber from the 2.5 Series line, engineered for high-performance off-road applications. This piggyback-style shock features external bypass technology that provides position-sensitive damping control throughout the suspension travel, delivering superior ride quality and bottoming resistance.

Key Features:

• 18-inch extended length for maximum suspension travel
• 2.5-inch bore diameter for increased oil capacity and heat dissipation
• External bypass design with 2 compression zones and 1 rebound zone for precise tuning
• Piggyback reservoir configuration for enhanced oil cooling and gas separation
• Black anodized finish for corrosion resistance and durability
• 2 1/70 mounting configuration for specific chassis applications

This bypass shock is designed for serious off-road enthusiasts and racers who demand precise control over their suspension performance. The multi-zone bypass system allows for independent tuning of compression and rebound damping at different points in the shock stroke, providing optimal wheel control across varying terrain conditions.
