Fox Racing Shocks 980-02-235-1 3.0 Factory Series Bypass Piggyback Reservoir Shock 18 Inch Stroke

The Fox Racing Shocks 980-02-235-1 is a high-performance 3.0 Factory Series bypass shock with piggyback reservoir design, engineered for extreme off-road applications requiring precise damping control across the full range of suspension travel. This 18-inch stroke shock features custom valving tuned for specific vehicle setup and driving conditions.

Key Features:

• 3.0-inch bore diameter for exceptional oil capacity and heat dissipation
• 4-tube bypass design with 2 compression and 2 rebound circuits for progressive damping control
• Piggyback reservoir configuration for remote gas pressurization and additional fluid capacity
• 7/8-inch hardened and chrome-plated shaft for maximum strength and durability
• Custom valving specifically tuned for your vehicle and application
• 18.0-inch stroke length with 46.43-inch extended and 28.43-inch collapsed lengths
• Black anodized body with zinc-plated components for corrosion resistance
• Factory Series construction with race-proven internal components

The bypass tube design allows for position-sensitive damping adjustments throughout the stroke, providing plush compliance during initial travel while ramping up control as the suspension compresses. The piggyback reservoir keeps nitrogen gas separate from damping oil, maintaining consistent performance under extreme conditions. Ideal for high-performance desert racing, rock crawling, and off-road trophy truck applications where maximum suspension control is critical.
