GT Radial 100A1013 Champiro IcePro 2 LT245/70R17 119/116Q Studdable Winter Light Truck Tire

The GT Radial Champiro IcePro 2 (LT245/70R17) is a heavy-duty studdable winter tire built specifically for light trucks demanding maximum traction on snow and ice. Offered in a robust 10-ply LT construction, the IcePro 2 delivers confident control in severe winter conditions where standard all-season highway or all-terrain tires fall short.

This tire is flexible enough to be run with or without studs, allowing drivers to tailor their level of winter grip to their specific conditions and local regulations. Its Q-speed rated construction and dual load rating of 119/116Q make it well-suited for the demands of loaded light trucks.

Key Features:

• Studdable Design: Engineered stud pocket placement optimizes grip distribution and minimizes noise when studs are installed
• Lateral Groove Pattern: Efficiently evacuates slush and ice from the contact patch, maintaining consistent traction on wet winter surfaces
• Advanced Silica Tread Compound: Enhances ice braking performance and snow traction while keeping the tire pliable in sub-freezing temperatures
• Zig-Zag Sipes: Hundreds of biting edges around the tread improve grip on hard-pack and black ice
• 10-Ply (Load Range E) Construction: Heavy-duty casing maintains proper tire shape under load, supporting reliable highway performance for work trucks
• Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake (3PMSF) Rated: Meets the industry standard for severe snow service

The Champiro IcePro 2 is backed by a 5-year materials and workmanship warranty with free replacement during the first 2/32 inch of tread wear. Whether tackling icy mountain passes or snow-covered job site roads, this tire provides the durability and winter traction that serious light truck owners require.
