Product Details

The Michelin Pilot Alpin 5 SUV is a premium winter tire engineered for high-performance SUVs and crossovers, delivering exceptional cold-weather traction without compromising handling precision. This tire serves as Original Equipment on select luxury vehicles, combining winter capability with sport-oriented performance characteristics.

Key Features:

  • Advanced directional tread pattern with center groove optimizes water evacuation and reduces hydroplaning risk on wet, slushy roads
  • Latest-generation winter tread compound incorporates new functional polymers that maintain flexibility in freezing temperatures for superior grip on ice and snow
  • High-density 3D sipes provide biting edges for winter traction while maintaining tread block rigidity for precise handling
  • Prominent sidewall design complements the aggressive aesthetic of modern performance SUVs
  • 305mm section width provides enhanced contact patch and stability for heavier SUV platforms
  • 112V speed rating (up to 149 mph) ensures performance capability even in winter conditions

The Pilot Alpin 5 SUV balances the winter performance demands of cold climates with the handling expectations of performance-oriented SUV drivers, making it an ideal choice for luxury crossovers and sport utility vehicles in regions with harsh winter weather.
