Firestone 6429 Winterforce 2 UV 225/60R17 99S Studdable Winter Tire

The Firestone Winterforce 2 UV 225/60R17 is a dedicated studdable winter tire engineered for SUVs, crossovers, and light trucks. Built to deliver confident traction in snow, ice, and cold wet conditions, it carries the Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake (3PMSF) certification, confirming it meets industry standards for severe snow service.

Key Features:

• Special Cold-Weather Tread Compound: Formulated to remain pliable in freezing temperatures, maintaining grip when all-season tires harden and lose traction
• Directional Tread Pattern with High-Density 3D Siping: Thousands of interlocking biting edges deliver grip on snow and ice while improving steering responsiveness and cornering stability
• Deep Circumferential Grooves & Open Shoulder Slots: Efficiently channel slush and standing water away from the contact patch to resist hydroplaning
• Full-Depth Tread Features: Tread design performs consistently as the tire wears, providing long-lasting winter capability season after season
• Studdable Design: Pre-pinned to accept optional TSMI #11 metallic winter studs for maximum traction in severe icy conditions (where permitted by law)
• Twin Steel Belt Internal Structure: Steel belts over a polyester casing combine durability with a comfortable ride quality
• Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake (3PMSF) Certified: Meets the required performance criteria for use in severe snow conditions
